Final ride of the season

So Mother Nature decided that the groundhog was going to have to stay put for a bit, and blanketed us with a final blast of winter. While many of us were anxiously awaiting warmer temps and sunnier days, we decided to subscribe to the adage “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” and got our sleds out for one more ride.

The trails were a bit “sticky,” but what can you expect at the end of March? All-in-all, our trek to Chautauqua yielded us a fantastic Saturday afternoon ride. Not too cold, nicely groomed trails, and plenty of other riders out for company.

In the words of one newly-adoptive 11 year old daughter – “I can’t wait for next winter.” Now that’s how we should end a season.

Snowmobiling season winds down

As the snowmobile season comes to a close, we all look at back at the highs and lows of the season and can only smile! Starting off every rider has to be pleased with this season in comparision to last years. When the trails were open all the clubs have done a fantastic job with grooming and maintance, and it was definitly all smiles at trailside stops such as; gas stations and resturants!

The season held some great events, that we as a company, had the opportunity to take part in, for example the Hamburg Snowmobile Club’s poker run. The event had a great turn out and luckily mother nature graced us with some needed snow over night. The demo rides of the new Polaris sleds at the Hamburg VFW were a great addition to the event!

With what it looks like there is one more week of rideable trails in the southtowns, so hook up the trailers and enjoy the end of a great season!
